Why does sebamed Cream not contain any UV-filter?
UV-filters serve to protect the skin against sun damages. But they have to be applied several times a day in order to keep the protection. If you apply a UV filtrating cream at 7 a.m. in the morning, there will already be only little protection remaining in the late morning which can give you sunburn and/or accelerate skin aging. Rather than making sebamed users trust a protection which is not existent, sebamed focuses on maximizing the cream's compatibility for sensitive skin. Good and easy to renew sun protection can be achieved either with tinted powder or with sun lotion which is applied 20 - 30 minutes before being exposed to the sun.
