DTB and Sebapharma extend cooperation

Sebapharma GmbH & Co. KG with its sebamed brand remains partner of German Tennis Association (DTB). The four-year cooperation between the Federation and the company from southwest Germany, which markets medicinal body care products under the name “sebamed”, began in 2017 and will be extended for an additional year. This means that the brand, which is known for its products with pH 5.5, will remain an official project partner and supplier for the DTB for another year.

Since the start of the cooperation, sebamed has been supporting the joint opening of the open-air season organised by the DTB under the campaign title “Germany plays tennis!”. In Germany’s largest sports club campaign, the over 2,000 participating clubs receive not only free advertising materials every year. 200 attractive club prizes, which are also generously supported by sebamed, are raffled off among all participating clubs. In 2021, sebamed will expand this commitment further and provide each of the first 1,250 clubs to register for the season opening with an additional 100 bottles of sebamed sports shower gel. The joint start into the new open-air season is scheduled for 24 April.

“We are looking forward to team up with the German Tennis Federation again this year. The sebamed products with pH 5.5 have been synonymous with healthy skin for over 50 years and are ideally suited for the stressed skin of athletes – that is why athletes in particular rely on the medicinal cleansing and care products from sebamed,” explains Dr. Daniel Rothoeft, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of Sebapharma GmbH & Co. KG, and adds:

“With more than 9,000 clubs and almost 5 million organised and non-organised active tennis players, this allows us to reach the ideal target group.”

Another element of the cooperation is the support for the German Championships in all age groups as well as other tournaments organised by the DTB. This includes the Tennis Challenger Hamburg and the German Beach Tennis Championships in Saarlouis, where the participants will be provided with sebamed products. There are also plans to integrate the brand into conferences and other DTB events, while the state associations also benefit from the free product samples which are provided as part of the cooperation.
