Dr Heinz Maurer recognises the need for medicinal skin cleansing and care.

The first “soap without soap” goes into production

Dr Heinz Maurer succeeds in implementing his idea. The first “soap without soap” goes into production, a cleansing bar based on surfactants that corresponds to the skin’s physiologically slightly acidic pH of 5.5. Dr Maurer provokes the experts with the claim: “People have been washing themselves incorrectly for 2 000 years.”
