Sustainability at Sebapharma GmbH & Co. KG

Taking responsibility for the skin also includes taking responsibility for people and the environment

As a leading company for medicinal skin and body care, Sebapharma has been committed to sustainability since it was founded. Because taking responsibility for the skin also includes taking responsibility for people and the environment.

The skin is the largest organ in the human body. It covers the entire body, protects it and forms a barrier to the outside world. This makes the skin the interface between the individual and the environment. A lot of what happens within the human body is transported to the outside via the skin: be it stress or happiness – it is easy to see whether someone feels good in their own skin. The skin also responds to external stimuli, and reacts sensitively to external disturbances: our skin suffers when exposed to heat, cold, UV rays or environmental toxins.

Therefore, it goes without saying that Sebapharma does not only feel a sense of responsibility towards the skin, but also towards the environment and people. Because we will only feel really comfortable if we live in an intact, healthy environment, which is governed by consideration and appreciation.

Sustainability as a cornerstone of our company philosophy

The idea of sustainability is an important cornerstone of Sebamed's company philosophy. It is built on three pillars: ecological, economical and social sustainability. This is reflected throughout the entire value chain, as well as in all areas of business. Be it responsible, environmentally friendly management, innovative R&D, consistent optimisation of all production processes, family-oriented personnel development or commitment to the region – sustainability is lived at Sebapharma.
